The Webb Ellis team prides itself on being reliable and helpful – service and supply are paramount to us.

Bespoke Rugby Teamwear
Our aim at Webb Ellis is to make kit manufacture easy and fast. We’ll take you through the designing of your own bespoke kit, exactly as you want it. With our approval process, including swatches, we eradicate the chances of your kit be delivered anything but perfect. There are many benefits to having custom sublimated rugby kits not only from a design purpose with there being simply unlimited choice, but unlike cut and sew garments, the price remains fixed allowing you to remove any added logo fees. We offer 3 types of shirts, ‘Pro Fit’, ‘Semi Pro Fit’ and ‘Straight Cut’ with the Semi Pro Fit being our most popular. Pro Fit being extremely tight fitting, backs love them but forwards hate them, ideal for 7s rugby. Contains a softer touch, 4-way stretch polyester elastine wicking fabric, both lightweight and strong. Straight Cut being quite relaxed and Semi Pro Fit is shaped to fit but not to the same extreme as Pro Fit. So once you have picked the fit, now add your collar choice, from Round Neck, Traditional Collar, Grandad Collar, Wrapover, Horseshoe and V-Neck collar. Not only do we offer sublimated shirts, but we can do full rugby kits for your club, for both match kit and training kit. So if you want dress shirts, polo shirts, training tops, hoody’s, bench jacket and so on all in your club colours just ask. Auckland Polo, Waikato Hoody, Sideline Pants, Splash Tops are all in stock for immediate delivery. A fast turn around time on bespoke rugby personalisation too, such as embroidered badge and initials or a team name.
Rugby Training Balls and Match Balls
Webb Ellis Rugby offer a good variety of both Match Balls and Training Balls. The Webb Ellis Premier Trainer has the same design as many of the Match Balls but made with slightly different rubber, with the match balls holding their shape more. The FB10 as modelled by Freddie Burns former Gloucester and now Leicester Tigers Fly Half. Webb Ellis currently offer 4 different Rugby Match Balls, The Oblivion, Millennium, Premier and Matrix Kinetic being the best out the 4 with super wet condition grip and added stiffness for further travel in pass and kicking distance. A couple of years ago the Ladies size 4.5 was introduced and unlike many we cater for women’s rugby having both a training and a match ball in the lucrative size.
Ball Technology: The technology process behind every Webb Ellis Ball, coupled with rigorous testing procedures, ensures that Webb Ellis match balls are the best! The Webb Ellis rubber formula found in our match balls is specifically engineered to improve wet grip. Research by RAPRA looked at the rubber compounds of competitor balls and used this to develop the Webb Ellis rubber, raising the bar in wet weather technology. The surface of our mathc balls repels water molecules so you can be sure of the best wet grip handling on the market.
When developing the wet and dry grip of the ball, funding from MAS allowed valuable research by Photonics Clusters at Aston University. 3D modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics led to the optimum pimple design, both in terms of shape and configuration on the surface of the ball, for the best all-round grip.
Of course, a kicker’s dream is for consistency and accuracy every time. The advanced latex formula of the pressurize bladder, in our match balls, ensures long distance for punting and place kicking- gaurenteed.
Webb Ellis never rests on its laurels. The products are continually evolving to bring you cutting edge technology and design, such as the Spectral Match Ball; a world-first, patented ball with a unique panel construction for an increased sweetspot.
Along with our match and training balls we also provide a lot of graphic balls in our supporters range, flag range and also souvenirs too with the Leather Rugbeian and Leather Puntabout.
